Please see our response to HMRC's call for input for the design of the UK Carbon Border Adjustment Mechanism (CBAM), which closed on 13 June 2024. A UK CBAM is set to be introduced in 2027.
Our response was formulated by stakeholder engagement and our previous CBAM submission to HMRC which was discussed in various International Trade Committees. We welcome any further feedback, as we continue to engage with government.
