Ryvita Thins going from strength to strength


Across the Summer of 2023 Ryvita supported their high fibre Thins range. With six delicious flavours made for dipping and dunking, Ryvita highlighted the health benefits of Thins by association across media and retailer instore promotion.

Summer is the perfect time for BBQs and picnics and Ryvita Thins showed their versatility perfectly with magazine grid features in Sainsburys, online sponsored picnic event promotion and social which targeted a broader audience with a focus on under 35s.

Ryvita spoke to consumers via fixture with shelf talkers in Asda and FPU in 150 Waitrose stores. They amplified digital search terms such as healthy snacks and high in fibre snacks in Morrisons and Ocado.

In Tesco Ryvita took their range of thins on the road visiting 80 stores and sharing 50k coupons for consumers to take advantage of a reduced healthy snack. Ryvita was featured in 497 stores *at their instore summer of flavour event and the brand team visited head office to share their Thins range with staff and visitors.  

Across 2023 Ryvita worked with other brands who share a philosophy of health in FMCG with cross partnerships. Brands such as John West, Holy Moly, Happy Egg Company and Ramonas hummus all who have worked with Ryvita producing joint content to highlight their benefits to consumers.

Results for 2023 showed an increase of Thins sales across the summer period vs a year ago and a penetration growth with a younger consumer (under 35yrs) vs a year ago and an increased media reach overall to 79% UK HH.

In November 2023 Ryvita launched their Snack It range of Thins. Two new flavours (125g Sea Salt and Cider Vinegar and Sour Cream and Chive) as an on the go snack. Staying true to their healthy roots they are high in fibre and Non HFSS yet delivering great taste. Available in Waitrose, Ocado and Sainsburys now.
