Mark Auty - RSSL

Mark Auty is a pioneer food microstructure scientist and a leader in his field, with an international reputation for food structure research. Mark originally developed new food imaging methods that are now widely used by academia and industry to gain both scientific understanding and business value. He has contributed towards a deeper understanding of food structure as it impacts formulation, processing and consumer perception. A strong advocate for putting food under the microscope (literally), and sharing his knowledge of new technologies widely, his current role is leading the food microstructure programme for RSSL and Mondelez globally.
