Frontline HomeGrown is a development programme with the aim to accelerate colleagues’ development into leadership roles within the business.

At our Leicester Manufacturing facility, we have an ethnically diverse employee population, which was not flowing through to representation into leadership roles. Frontline HomeGrown was developed to take the learnings from the UK Strategies for Success female talent programme; identifying talent early and investing in these individuals to build confidence and remove perceived or real barriers to progression.
The programme has had a significant impact, meeting and exceeding the targets for both female and ethnicity. A third of Cohort 1 has been promoted or seconded into new roles within the first six months of the scheme.
