Despite substantial improvements in machinery safety and the introduction of robust legislation, machinery-related serious accidents continue to occur in the workplace and represent a significant risk to employee health and safety and business operations.

A common cause, and often under-utilised risk reduction opportunity, is the physical isolation of hazardous machine energy (e.g. electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, chemical, gravitational,) to prevent unexpected machine energization or start-up during maintenance or repair tasks.

In this webinar, Mike Shaw will introduce the key operational risks, legal requirements and challenges, providing an outline roadmap for successfully implementing hazardous machine energy management in a production environment.
